Peter Pan is a charity pre-school run not for profit and has a committee made up of staff and parents. The Peter Pan staff are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced at running the pre-school, however, as a charity, there are some aspects of the pre-school that require support and input from the committee. Each year we ask for a small number of parent volunteers to take on committee roles. It’s not too onerous but does require some registration paperwork and a commitment to attend termly committee meetings.
Fees charged at Peter Pan are designed to cover our costs to ensure that we can offer child care that’s accessible to all. It relies on voluntary charity donations made by those families using Early Years funding and one off fundraising events to cover the cost of all of its resources. We aim to raise between £3-4k per year which Peter Pan uses to purchase equipment and resources to improve the learning and play environment. This last academic year we have held children's craft mornings, Christmas Wreath making, Pilates and Prosecco, and parents have run the Bath Half Marathon.
If you’d like to volunteer, have any questions about the committee or have a fundraising idea you’d like to run with, please get in touch at peterpanpreschoolbath@gmail.com
With kindest regards,
The Peter Pan Committee
