About us

Peter Pan Pre-school was established over 40 years ago by a group of volunteer parents. Over the years we have grown and developed into the flourishing pre-school we are today. We currently provide pre-school care for around 40 children (a maximum of 24 children per session) aged between 2 and statutory school age.

We are a registered charity and are managed by an elected voluntary committee made up of parent volunteers. We are a non-profit making organisation committed to providing pre-school care and education for all children in the local area.

Parents can use Early Years Entitlement funding to pay for children's attendance, currently 15 /30 hours per week for all children over 3 years old.

Please take a look at all the sub-pages in this section to find out more about the people who work here, how we structure activities for children based on the Early Years Foundation Stage, provision for special needs, and how we work with parents.

We explored the lifecycle of a caterpillar

We shared stories about caterpillars

We watched them as they changed into chrysalides

And we released the butterflies into our garden.
